THQ Opens Austin Office UPDATES

Just four months after THQ announced 600 layoffs (24% of its workforce), the publisher has opened up a 33,000-square foot office in Austin, TX, and is said to be moving into the new quarters this fall.

Kotaku’s reports say that it is unclear if the new studio will be for Vigil Games or another THQ studio based in Austin.

Update: Gamasutra contacted THQ, and it turns out that the studio is for Vigil games.  Link: Gamasutra.com
