Gamasutra reports that Capcom and Grim’s Bionic Commando has sold only 27,000 units during its first month in the States, according to the NPD numbers.
The original Bionic Commando is a highly regarded arcade classic, and it seems that the publisher was counting on the Bionic Commando name to help sell the title.
The 27,000 is a combined total of the game’s Xbox 360 and PS3 sales, but an exact number for each was not disclosed.
The game right now carries around a 70 percent Metacritic average.
